Today, NEMOPHILA announced two tours. The first one is Japan, and the second one, and more important for me, is for North America.

Well, technically North America, but more like California and Mexico. One of my friends did point out that it's right before SXSW so we may well see them there too.

Tickets for the San Francisco and Los Angeles shows are $20 advance, $25 at the door. $100 for VIP if you want early entry and a special gift.  San Francisco seems like it's the only one with that specific benefit.

The Great American Music Hall will be the venue in downtown San Francisco on 3/8/23. Los Angeles' Echoplex plays host to the band on 3/9/23.

Finally, Mexico's Lunario will be the last stop on the tour.

EDIT: the band has just added a Sacramento stop on 3/7/23. An odd choice given that northern California is already covered by the San Francisco show. Usually, bands will pick one city in an area. San Francisco/East Bay/San Jose/Santa Cruz/Sacramento are likely choices, but not more than one. It's also on a Monday. But, with the deck stacked against it, maybe that'll equal less people and a more intimate show. I personally will be going to the San Francisco show and maybe the Los Angeles one too.

Tickets go on sale 10/11/22 (Tuesday) at 10AM PST for the American shows.  Tickets are available here for San Francisco, here for Los Angeles, here for Sacramento, and here for Mexico City.

The Japan tour has a number of show dates including Fukuoka, Okayama, Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Niigaya, and finally, Tokyo. The tour begins on 1/8/23 and runs through 2/10/23. Tickets are significantly more expensive than the American shows (6800 yen vs $20) but that just shows they know their audience. They've got a growing fanbase in Japan, and us folks in America are just getting started. Cracking America is a bit of a challenge but I do like how they are making an effort to make fans here.

Tickets for Japan will be via lottery and the entry period is between 10/8/22 (now) and 10/16/22, so if you're a Japanese fan, get on it.  You can enter the lottery here.

As an added bonus, the band has released a new music video for Seize the Fate to accompany the tour announcement.  Check it out here:

The band's second album will be released this December, on 12/14/22.
