Developer Koei Tecmo and the Atelier team have officially released the comprehensive results of their massive global survey for Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, pulling in an impressive total of over 38,000 player responses. Among the most discussed revelations from the announcement is the official confirmation of a brand-new body shape change feature, which addresses one of the community's most passionate talking points since the game's initial reveal.

According to the official developer update, the newly implemented system gives players absolute freedom over how protagonist Karia's physical appearance responds to in-game mechanics. When the feature is toggled ON, Karia’s body shape will dynamically alter depending on how frequently she eats snacks during her adventures. However, for players who prefer a static appearance, the system includes an OFF toggle that prevents any physical changes regardless of her dietary habits. Furthermore, the team has added a locking mechanism that lets players freeze Karia at their preferred body shape even with the dynamic setting enabled, ensuring a fully customized gameplay experience tailored to every personal preference.

Beyond the custom body shape settings, the survey results confirmed that several additional community-driven projects are officially moving forward into development. Fan feedback has successfully greenlit the creation of special costumes chosen directly through the survey, an exclusive short story based on the community's winning thematic vote, and a dedicated developer Q&A session addressing the top three most-requested questions from the fanbase. With these additions, the development team continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to shaping Atelier Karia alongside its community.
Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories is officially scheduled to launch on February 25, 2027. Players will be able to experience Karia's newest alchemy adventure across multiple platforms, including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
