BAND-MAID will also begin their US tour right afterwards. They'll be heading north to Seattle on 10/12/22, then stopping by San Francisco on 10/14/22, Los Angeles on 10/15/22, and San Diego on 10/17/22. Their journey will take their eastward with stops in Pheonix, AZ, Dallas, Houston, Silver Springs, MD, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, New Jersey, and finally, Chicago.
While tickets for the west-coast shows are sold out, if you happen to live in Texas or Maryland, you're in luck. There are lots of tickets available for a good price. Maryland has some as low as $30 right now.
Previously, Japanese band Crossfaith was also announced for Aftershock. Regrettably, they had to pull out from their appearance, and have even gone as far as to cancel all touring activities period. Announcements like this are usually financial decisions, and are not taken lightly.
For those of you who are looking to fill out more of your Aftershock time, I can recommend a few more bands. On Day 1 you have Ice Nine Kills and Crown the Empire. On Day 2, Falling in Reverse, Motionless in White, and Apocalyptica. Day 3, Halestorm. On Day 4, Bloodywood. I've purposely not mentioned headliners and bands that are already really, really popular over here.
I will, unfortunately, not be attending Aftershock, but I hope that all of you who do have a lot of fun. It's one of the closer festivals for those of us in California who like anything that utilizes an electric guitar and has a lot to offer, both big and small.
