This coming November (11/10), an event called "Miku Party" will be held at 8 different cities across USA! and San Francisco is one of them. This is a world-wide celebration event for Vocaloid fans, "Miku-pa" (Miku party in Japanese) also planned in Thailand, Brazil, France.
During Miku-pa, the live concert in Sapporo will be screened to the fans overseas. it is a special event celebrating the release of "Hatsune Miku Live Party 2011" DVD release on 11/16.

On June 8th, YAMAHA hosted a Nico Nico Douga live stream and released news about the upcoming successor of the Vocaloid system - Vocaloid 3 (called Vocaloid 3 editor)
As I read through, it looks like they are really shooting for making Vocaloid a multi-language and international culture trend. I will do my best to give a summary of the event information.

I know this is not news for those like me that have been following the anime series. I waited and waited for the last 2 episodes, and they finally were broadcasted by MBS.

Trying not to put any spoilers here, but I think it made the story finally goes to a conclusion and I like how the story has been laying down many hints in each episode. I'm happy that my guess about the "truth" after watching episode 10 was actually right. ;)
Some of my friends said, they feel depressed after the anime is done. But knowing it has been such a big success, I'm sure there will be more things following up!

Nico Nico Douga is a popular video streaming site in Japan. In the last 1.5 days, the "likes" on their Facebook page increased from 300 to over 1000. I'm sure many many anime fans like me are super excited about it!
