As the premier gaming convention in the Seattle Washington area, Penny Arcade Expo (or PAX) is split into multiple gaming events held in Seattle (West), Boston (East), Melbourne (Aus), and San Antonio (South). We got to experience PAX West for the first time, and I have to say I’m impressed by everyone attending and exhibiting. Everything about the show is all for the passion of gaming. From consoles to PC to tabletop, PAX has it all.
Sekai Project, a rising publisher and licenser of Japanese new media and electronic entertainment today announced, during their live panel at Otakon in Baltimore, their plans to publish and localize several new titles for PC and bring a highly-popular PC series to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system.
Amy Hennig, the former creative director of the Uncharted series and current senior creative director of Visceral Games, will deliver the opening keynote at PAX West 2016. The full schedule of panels will be live on the Guidebook mobile app later this week.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. today announced a worldwide publishing agreement with Swedish video game developer, Tarsier Studios, for a brand new game called LITTLE NIGHTMARES. LITTLE NIGHTMARES presents a dark yet whimsical tale that will have players confront their childhood fears as they help a girl dressed in a yellow raincoat escape the jaws of The Maw – a vast, mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls looking for their next meal!

Square Enix and Level-5 announced a collaboration between Final Fantasy XIV and Yo-kai Watch during the Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXIX stream back in late April. The collaboration includes the appearance of 13 popular characters from the Yo-Kai Watch series as weapons, minions, an equippable Yo-kai watch, and even a flying mount. The event went live on July 26, 2016 and is currently in full-swing. Accompanied by a free login campaign, the cities of Eorzea are positively jumping with old and new adventurers alike.
