E3’s twenty-second year has once again shattered attendance records, and raised the bar for Los Angeles’ premier trade show for the video game industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association. This year’s show saw a huge increase in attendance, with more than 70,000 people that participated in the week’s events, including 50,300 video game professionals, analysts, journalists, and enthusiasts attended this week’s trade show, and 20,000 fans attended E3 Live.
Earlier this year, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Gravity Rush 2. The game picks up right where Gravity Rush left off. Kat will return alongside her friend Raven. At E3, Sony happened to have a playable demo at their booth and I was able to get some hands on time with the game. From what I can say, the game is a massive improvement from playing on the Vita.
When ReCore was first shown at Microsoft’s E3 2015 briefing the game has since been shrouded in mystery but knowing that Legendary Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune and Metroid Prime Alum Mark Pacini, of Armature Studio, were working on this game had me intrigued. My biggest question was what exactly is ReCore?
We managed to get a sneak peak at the new upcoming game, Tales of Berseria, with the publishers from Bandai Namco. Players assume the role of Velvet, a young women who was once kind but has been overcome with anger and hatred revolving around a traumatic experience three years prior to the events with Tales of Berseria.
