Over Thanksgiving weekend, Fan Expo San Francisco returned to Moscone West Convention Center for its third year, reaffirming its place as a key event in the Bay Area's pop culture calendar. Despite the chilly downtown San Francisco weather, the warmth and energy inside Moscone West year's expo drew an even larger crowd, solidifying its growing popularity among fans.

Returning for its second year in the San Francisco Bay Area, Anime Impulse arrived at the San Mateo County Event Center on October 12-13. If you're unfamiliar with Anime Impulse, it’s part of a multi-event weekend hosted by Impulse Universe Inc., which also includes K-Play! Fest, Sneaker Expo, and Collectors Expo. Purchasing a ticket for any of these shows grants you access to all of them over the weekend. Impulse Universe also hosts shows in other cities such as Los Angeles, Seattle, and Phoenix.

King Records has announced they will be hosting three panels at Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles, featuring voice actors Haruki Ishiya, Yukihiro Nozuyama (Hypnosismic -Division Rap Battle-), and Sumire Uesaka. The panels include a preview of upcoming releases for 2024 and 2025, and a celebration of Sumire Uesaka's 10th anniversary as a voice actress and artist, with special gifts for attendees. At the King Records booth, visitors can enjoy an Anisong DJ performance, participate in an Anisong Karaoke Contest, try their luck at a crane game with Hypnosismic -Division Rap Battle- and Sumire Uesaka merchandise, and create custom anime-themed T-shirts. Nijisanji fans, who were looking forward to the "Summer Jam" and "Welcome to Wonder Wander World" concerts scheduled for July 6-7 at Anime Expo, received disappointing news earlier this week. A tweet from Nijisanji’s official X account announced that: “Recent developments have made it clear that creating the optimal environment for an unforgettable experience for our fans and our Livers is no longer feasible”
