Animation studio GoHands has revealed a new trailer and more information for their upcoming original anime, MOMENTARY LILY, ahead of its world premiere at Anime Expo on July 4th. Directed by Katsumasa Yokomine and produced by Toshio Iizuka, the series combines CGI and 2D visuals in GoHands’ distinctive style. Set in a world besieged by otherworldly foes, MOMENTARY LILY follows high school girls who battle these invaders while navigating daily life and uncovering mysteries of their past.

The main cast includes Natsuko Abe as Yuri Kawazu, Tsugumi Sakuragi as Erika Kodaiji, Shion Wakayama as Hinageshi Usuzumi, Manatsu Murakami as Renge Kasumi, Misaki Kuno as Sazanka Yoshino, and Miyuri Shimabukuro as Ayame Sakuya.
The opening theme, "Tasty Survivor," is performed by the nu-metalcore band Hanabie, marking their first anime tie-in.
At Anime Expo, the panel "GoHands New Animation Project MOMENTARY LILY" will feature director Katsumasa Yokomine and producer Toshio Iizuka, offering insights into the production and thematic elements. Fans can anticipate the anime’s general release in January 2025, with the first episode premiering at the convention.
