Set to debut at Anime Expo 2014, along with an appearance by writer Reki Kawahara and illustrator abec, Aniplex of America has confirmed its global simulcast details for their upcoming release of Sword Art Online II starting July 5th. The anime will be streamed across the world through the distribution channels Hulu, Crunchyroll and DAISUKI.

Anime Central 2014 was packed full of anime announcements as usual from companies such as FUNimation and Aniplex. The T-ONO staff has compiled a list of all the new acquisitions and new releases that are coming soon.
Today it was announced that North American video game and anime publisher NIS America will be releasing Clamp's classic anime series Cardcaptor Sakura in a Blu-ray Premium Edition and DVD standard edition on August 5. Both editions will feature a bonus monaural English dub.

Over the weekend Aniplex USA announced that they will be releasing the first film in the Persona3 film trilogy, Spring of Birth, on Blu-ray later this year on May 20th. Based off of ATLUS' highly-successful PlayStation 2 JRPG, the film tells the story about a group of students who summon entities known as Personas, beings with special powers, to battle creatures known as shadows during the "dark hour."
With an upcoming preview set for Bandai Namco's booth at the upcoming AnimeJapan 2014 trade show, a teaser site for the upcoming original TV anime Sora no Method was revealed on Monday. Additionally, it was announced that Naoki Hisaya (Kanon, Sola) will be writing original concepts and scripts while the illustration circle QP:flapper (MM!, Girlfriend (Beta)) will be working on original character designs.
