Despite the rise of streaming anime online, Cartoon Network announced last week that the popular Toonami segment would return this week on May 26. FUNimation has announced yesterday that Casshern Sins and Deadman Wonderland would be joining the Toonami block.

Many of Americans became aware of anime through Toonami. Unfortunately after 11 years, Toonami was cancelled in 2008. Hopefully this is a sign for more things to come with Toonami back.
