Fans of the fictional band Egoist may be interested to learn their new single "Namae no Nai Kaibutsu" used as the ending theme for the anime Psycho-Pass has been released today for purchase on iTunes and Amazon.
Egoist is a fictional band that originated from the hit anime series Guilty Crown and was produced by ryo from the musical group supercell.
After a spectacular performance in Los Angeles, Japanese popstar May Nakabayashi also known by her stage name as May'n, headed to her next location, Yoshi's Jazz Club and Japanese Restaurant in San Francisco on June 23, 2012. The concert was part of her world tour titled "ROCK YOUR BEATS."
Earlier this week, the official homepage for Japanese singer May'n announced she will be releasing her third full album titled Heat on March 21, 2012. The album will include the song "Scarlet Ballet" which was used as the OP (opening theme song) for the anime adaptation of Aria the Scarlet Ammo (Hidan no Aria), "Brain Diver" used in anime Phi Brain: Puzzle of God and a new song, "Heat of the Moment".
Her site also announced that she will be going on a world tour later this year titled "Rock Your Beats" though no countries have been specified yet. We will update as more information is released.
May'n made her first American performance back in 2010 at Anime Expo held in Los Angeles.

As part of the birthday celebration of the highly popular Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, the Vocaloid 3 Korean Mascot was revealed ealier this week. Banking on the ever popular moe style, SeeU is a cat girl illustrated by Kkuem that just oozes adorableness. I know a lot of people love Hatsune Miku, but the cat ears and flowing hair won me over at a glance. She's voiced by Kim Tahi (Dahee), a super cute singer part of the up and coming K-pop group GLAM which has yet to debut.
Video game maker Sega had ran a contest for fans to submit their own songs for the popular rhythm arcade game, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade. One of the songs selected, Hanamai Tsukuyomi Tan (?????), was written by our own resident columnist and anime singer Yukie Dong with production done by the talented Hoskey. Congratulations to them both!
