After watching Dying Light 2's spectacular E3 trailer, it's immediately clear that this is a very different game than its predecessor. During an extended demo behind closed doors of Dying Light 2 at E3 this week, we learned from the lead game designer, Tymon Smektala about how the team rethought everything about parkour, melee combat, and story narrative to create something very ambitious, but shows a lot of potential.
Nintendo had quite a setup this year with a playable build of the new Smash Bros. Ultimate, but it also had an elaborate booth for attendees to see some very cool Smash Bros props.
The Dead or Alive series has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. It's over the top story and the ability to pull off flashy combos, are some of my favorite moments to have experienced with the series to date. While I am not very knowledgeable about fighting games by any stretch of the imagination, there's something quite intriguing that keeps me coming back for more.

We expected to see more of The Last of Us Part II at E3 2018 and it didn't fail to impress. Sony revealed a new gameplay trailer during its media showcase and it was both passionate and horrifying.
