After nearly two years of speculation and anticipation, Bandai Namco has given us a glimpse back into the world of Elden Ring with a new DLC expansion, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree,  detailing impressive monsters and beautifully detailed characters.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and FromSoftware, Inc. unveil a tantalizing glimpse of ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree through an all-new trailer. This expansion to the award-winning action RPG is set to launch globally on June 21.

The Land of Shadow

A realm veiled by the mighty Erdtree—a place where the goddess Marika once trod. Here, an unsung battle purged the land, ignited by the flames of Messmer. It was to this enigmatic domain that Miquella embarked, shedding flesh, strength, lineage—all things golden. Now, Miquella awaits the return of a promised lord.

Exactly two years after the release of ELDEN RING, the collaborative creation of FromSoftware, Inc. director Hidetaka Miyazaki and renowned author George R. R. Martin, the world continues to captivate audiences. The game garnered critical acclaim, securing prestigious accolades worldwide, including Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2022, the Golden Joystick Awards 2022, the 26th D.I.C.E. Awards, and the 2023 Game Developers Choice Awards.

In ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree, players venture into the Land of Shadow—an adventure teeming with mysteries and peril. Confront formidable bosses armed with new weapons and armor, following in the footsteps of Miquella as you unravel the darker facets of the ELDEN RING saga.

Prepare for the journey: ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree awaits on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam®. Pre-orders are now open across all platforms, including special bundles that include the base game (a prerequisite for the expansion).

For collectors, the exclusive Collector’s Edition is available in limited quantities—pre-order yours via the Bandai Namco Entertainment Store at the official website: eldenring.com
