Tales of Phantasia from Bandai Namco now available on the iPhone/iPad

Not satisfied with a mere name change, Bandai Namco (formerly known as Namco Bandai) has stealth released the Super Nintendo/PlayStation One classic Tales of Phantasia on the iOS App Store in the United States and Canada. This release is a "free" enhanced port of the first installment of the Tales of series without any required in-game purchases to play through it. The only caveat, you must have an active internet connection to play the game.

Steins; Gate delayaed until March 28th

According to an online post from Japanese merchandise retailer RightStuf, the much-anticipated release of Nitro+'s award-winning visual novel Steins;Gate has been delayed by one month without any explanation for the delay. The game is now set for release on March 28th, a full month after the game's previous release date of February 28th.

World End Economica now on STEAM Greenlight

Fresh off a highly successful campaign in which they managed to green light stage-nana’s visual novel Narcissu 1 & 2 on the video game distribution network Steam, Sekai Project has announced another project: a release of Isuna Hasekura’s sci-fi/economic thriller World End Economica in English. Previously distributed in English through MangaGamer and DMM, this is a retranslation of SpicyTail’s visual novel which was marred with a rather rough translation.

Xenogears Perfect Works to be rereleased March 2014

If you're like me and enjoyed the heck out of the Squaresoft's science-fiction masterpiece Xenogears as a kid, then you'll be glad to hear this recent bit of news: Xenogears' fan book "Perfect Works" will be reprinted by Fukkan starting mid-March in Japan for a paltry 5,250 yen ($50). What does this mean for you? How about the fact that you'll no longer have to pay obscene reseller prices for a physical copy after the previous publisher DigiCube went out of business.
