SPYAIR and ROOKIEZ is PUNK'D to Tour North America, World

Japanese band SPYAIR will make their US debut next week. The band, first formed in 2005, grew rapidly in popularity before making their major label debut with Sony Music. They will start their tour at the Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) Convention before traveling westward and then across the world.

The band is well known for their various anime theme songs such as "I'm a Believer" and "Imagination" from Haikyuu as well as "Genjou Destruction" and "Samurai Heart" from Gintama. They currently have seven studio albums with their most recent being 2017's "Kingdom." SPYAIR's latest single, "I Wanna Be..." was used as Gintama's 21st OP song.

They will be accompanied by ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D who have also contributed many songs to various anime series.  ROOKiEZ started in 2010 and was eventually picked up by defSTAR, an imprint of Sony Music.  Their music has been featured in Durarara!! ("Complication"), Blue Exorcist ("In My World"), and Bleach ("Song for...") among other series.  Their latest album, "The Sun Also Rises" was released just last week.
