You'll notice that it's actually titled "SCANDAL WORLD TOUR 2020 'Kiss from the darkness'," and that's not a joke. This was supposed to happen two years ago. Fingers crossed, it'll actually happen this year.
We're now in a much more feasible position when it comes to the world compared to last so this *should* happen. The tour kicks off in Toronto, ON, up in Canada. They then swing south to New York, along the eastern seaboard, and then shoot west. The California stop will be at the Anaheim House of Blues on Friday, July 22, 2022. The finale for the tour will be in Dallas, on July 26.
I and a few others will be driving from San Diego to Anaheim, and then back again that same night for the next day of San Diego Comic Con. That's another event that has been pushed back for two years.
SCANDAL's most recent release is the album MIRROR, which was released in January. The tour's namesake album, Kiss from the Darkness, was released back in February of 2020. It's kind of weird to have a whole other album released after the tour's original album but, that's just how things go. It'll be a question as to what songs will be played since most bands perform the matching album's works. Given that we now have a whole other album, maybe it's a bit of Kiss from the Darkness, and a bit from MIRROR.
