Rina Aiuchi, who has performed themes for anime such as Detective Conan and for games like Megaman X7, just announced her retirement after a fan club-only concert. Before her final farewell, she will release one more album, “LAST SCENE” and hold two more concerts – one in Saitama and Hyogo on September 18 and 26. This news is quite sudden, considering that she is only 30. More after the jump.

The singer announced her retirement, citing past health problems and using her 30th birthday as a chance to “reset” both her mind and body. She came to this decision after much consultation from doctors and staff. Fans of her work should make plans to attend these concerts if possible or risk never seeing Aiuchi perform live again. A sample of Aiuchi’s latest single, “HANABI” is included below.
