“Persona Concert” to be Held at Taiyou Con Next January

For fans of video game JRPG series Persona, Shoji Meguro's evocative compositions have always played a key role in accentuating the immersive environments found in the Shin Megami Tensei, Catherine and Trauama Center video game series. Most recently, his popularity has skyrocketed thanks to in part to his Persona 3 and Persona 4 soundtracks featuring the vocals of Shihoko Hirata, Lotus Juice and Yumi Kawamura.

In a rather surprising announcement, Taiyou Con, a convention located in Mesa, Arizona, revealed over the weekend that the trio will be hosting their debut concert in America January 16-18 at the Mesa Convention Center.

Besides Persona music, the trio have expressed an interest in singing some of their original work as well according to a Taiyou Con tweet. For Persona fans, this is definitely an exciting opportunity to see these three talented singers live!
