FlyingDog recently made over 3500 songs from various eras available for public streaming. You might know FlyingDog better as the anime music and video arm of Victor Entertainment. Some of the names under their label include Yuki Kajiura, Maaya Sakamoto, JUNNA, Minori Suzuki, May'n, Megumi Nakajima, and more.
One thing that makes this noteworthy is that Victor/JVC is somewhat notorious for region-locking things, even YouTube videos for things meant for consumption outside Japan. At least when it comes to these songs they've decided to backtrack on that and make it available worldwide.
Browsing the listing of songs is like going back in a time capsule. For the more experienced among us series like Genesis Climber MOSPEADA, GunBuster, Record of Lodoss War, and NOIR will bring back memories. More recent titles include The Ancient Magus Bride, Tsuki ga Kirei, Spice and Wolf, Arpeggio of Blue Steel, and Amagi Brilliant Park. You're going to have to check their press release page for a full listing because it's quite long.
I'll be honest, a lot of the songs released I've never heard in their full quality that they're now available in. Back in the day streaming music was unheard of, even fought against by companies, so a lot of what you had available was not exactly the best.
For those of you who don't know where to start, FlyingDog has curated a few playlists. Two of them are split into decades and the last is a featured list of artists.
