Fang and the others run into a mysterious woman named Glace, who has the ability to brainwash other people with her song. Another woman named Fleur joins their party, who also has the power of song. The two are known as Muses, and are able to boost or change other peoples’ abilities with the power of singing. ​

What could Glace’s motives be?​

Long ago, the people were given knowledge by the Goddess, and civilization flourished. They built towers stretching toward the heavens, and a weapon so powerful, they could pierce the gods themselves.

However, that civilization was decimated shortly after a violent conflict between the Goddess and the Vile God.

Ages have passed since then.

Our story begins with a young man named Fang who had become a Fencer, a swordsman who has the ability to wield a special weapon imbued with a Fairy known as a Fury.
Along with his companions, Fang is on a journey to find the Furies, and resurrect the Goddess.

One day, he encounters a woman who can save people with her song,
and another who can brainwash people with her song.

Along with the mysterious power of the women who call themselves Muses, Fang's destiny begins to unfold...

Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord offers several key features for players to enjoy. The game introduces an all-new Tactical RPG battle system called FFF Tactics?! Players can utilize terrain and objects like rocks, boxes, and grass strategically to gain advantages. Positioning on the battlefield can affect evasiveness, movement speed, and other factors. The beloved Avalanche Attack and Fairize battle mechanics make a return, adding depth to the gameplay.

The introduction of two Muses brings fresh battle mechanics to the game. Players can harness the power of their songs to buff allies, and combining area of effect boosts creates even more impactful buffs. However, players must be mindful as enemies within the area can also benefit from these effects.

A unique feature called "World Shaping" allows players to uncover hidden fairies, locations, and treasure. By using collected Furies and stabbing them in various locations on the world map, players can unlock valuable items, hidden locations, and even discover new fairies. Activating a chain of stabs enables players to explore more without depleting their limited Locate Energy.

The game offers an all-new story with multiple routes to explore. Players join Fang and his friends as they embark on a quest to find Furies and resurrect the Goddess. The choices made throughout the game will determine the harmony or dissonance that awaits as fate lies in the players' hands.
