The prequel to Xbox 360 and PSP hostess game Dream C Club, Dream C Club Zero had a wealth of information released today. Amongst these were the two new hostesses, Haruka and Asuka, new gameplay features such as new alcohol drinking mechanics, and a minigame that includes sticking a banana in the hostess’ mouth. If these sound right up your alley, hit the jump.

The first of these is the IIS, or Interactive Alcohol Consumption System. This allows players, while talking to hostesses, to simulate drinking alcohol. Players can do so by tilting the analog stick back. It seems to simulate the feelings of alcohol consumption as well. Perhaps these include blurry vision? Not too many details yet on this. After drinking enough, players will level up and be able to hold their own. At first, however, they will likely get swept under the table and get kicked out of the hostess bar.

Next up is the ETS, or Emotional Talk System, which has an acronym that actually matches its name. It’s the basic range of topics that players can speak to the hostess about. Some of the samples included in screenshots include basic conversation topics like hobbies and favorite movies. Apparently, answer choices will also change based on the amount of alcohol consumed, which adds to the realism level. We know what happens when you drink too much around the opposite sex. The game levels the playing field by allowing players to treat hostesses to drink as well, which opens up conversations that sober hostesses would not talk about.

Karaoke returns in Dream C Club Zero, bringing more camera freedom this time so players can view the performance from different angles. Drinking also brings other benefits. If the hostess becomes tipsy, her performance would change with it and players will see a different side of the hostess.

For players who can’t get enough of their virtual hostess, they can prolong their stay at the club once for a fee. Overall, it seems to be cheaper than the entrance fee, but it will help bring the player closer to his goal.

And of course, a new Dream C Club is incomplete without more “Gentleman’s Games.” In the new minigame, players apparently guide a banana toward a hostess’ mouth. Not much word on how much freedom it will have, but feel free to use your imagination.

Dream C Club Zero is scheduled to be released sometime this winter on the Xbox 360 in Japan only. The official website is here. I’m usually not big on, nor do I follow these imaginary girl games. But this one looks great just for all the alcohol consumption, which I rarely see in American games. Come on American developers, step your game up!
