Blazblue anime adaptation and home console version of Blazblue Chronophantasm have been announced.
The popular 2D fighting game has finally got a green lit for an anime this fall. The title for this anime is Blazblue After Memory. The series will be directed by Tachibana Hideki and story written by Takahasi Tatsuya. Editorial Supervisor will be ARC SYSTEM's Toshimichi Mori, who was in charge of the game's producer, main visual, and scenario writer.
The companies in charge of the anime adaptation are teamKG and Hoods Entertainment. Hoods Entertainment worked on several known titles including Mysterious Girlfriend X.

As some may have already recognized, the voice casts so far has been same as the video game. There has been no announcement on the casts for other characters such as Carl Clover, Arakune, or Bang Shishigami.
For even better news, ARC SYSTEMS WORKS has released a new trailer for the Blazblue Chronophantasm! The game will have additional two characters, Kagura Mutsuki and Yuki Terumi, as shown in the trailer. The game will be released this Autumn, October 24, 2013, on the PlayStation 3.
