A Mashup Made for Mayhem

The main gameplay mode of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 supports up to four players online, and offline, with the ability to replay a stage at any difficulty to unlock new characters and bonus stages. The game's roster of 28 characters come with their signature skills to customize to your liking. The online mode should add some nice depth to the game with customizable matches and challenge modes including endless Tetris and Puyo Puyo.

 A Day 1 patch will be available that should iron out any bugs and ensure a smooth game play experience. Any replay data players have will not carry over when you apply the patch. There is also a PS4 to PS5 free upgrade however, save and trophy data will not be carried over.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 will offer post-launch support that includes, additional characters and more ongoing free content unannounced at this time. For anyone picking up the Launch edition will be treated to a pack of rare item cards featuring items from the Sonic the Hedgehog series that should spice up your game experience.
