Our friends at Sakura-Con has informed us that two of their guest of honor, VOfan and Jo Chen have created special posters for the event that will be sold for charity. Limited to 499 copies, all proceeds will be donated to Peace Wind America which will be used for the earthquake and tsunami relief efforts. If you are going to Sakura-Con this weekend, might worth picking them up to get signed.
"Joining forces with Kodansha and Maxpower, this year Sakura con is proud to announce Japan Relief Charity Poster Sale. Joint illustrated by VOfan & Jo Chen, we have "We are always with you" & "Bushidou of Sakura" two different poster designs to select from. We hope to use this opportunity to help and wish for Japan's fast recovery, and all poster profits made at Sakura con will be donated to Peace Winds America, a local sister non profit to Peace Winds Japan, one of Japan's largest non profits dedicated to earthquake/tsunami preparedness and relief efforts.
