The stage play is based on Hayao Miyazaki's Academy Award-winning animated film and is adapted and directed by Tony Award-winner John Caird.
GKID will release two separate filmed performances of the production, starring Kanna Hashimoto and Mone Kamishiraishi as the lead heroine, Chihiro, and a star-studded cast of Japan's actors. According to GKID's President David Jesteadt, the stage adaptation brings the film to life in a new and imaginative way.
