Japan's hard-rocking Band-Maid makes their return to the US in just a few more days. The foreign leg of the World Domination 2018 tour begins on November 9th in Los Angeles before heading up to San Francisco on the 10th. After that, it's off to Europe with stops in Helsinki, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Berlin, and finally Munich.

The quintet consists of Kanami Touno and Miku Kobato on guitar, Akane Hirose on drums, bassist Misa, and Saiki Atsumi on lead vocals. Miku is also the leader and does vocals of her own. The band has had the same lineup since 2013 and their aesthetics are the product of Miku's time in a maid cafe. If Band-Maid's appearance leads to trepidation you are sorely mistaken; they are 100% legit in skill and ability and guarantee you a show that will rival any international rock act you can think of.

In addition, the band just released the full music video for "glory," the ED theme for the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. This comes one month after the short version video was uploaded and a live performance a week after release would be a nice addition to the tour. You can expect the setlist to include multiple songs from their newest album, "World Domination," which was released in February.

We last saw them in San Francisco just last year at J-Pop Summit 2017 where they lit the night up with a stellar performance featuring some of their hits like "Real Existence," "Freedom," and "The Non-Fiction Days." I was not expecting them to return so soon but it's a welcome surprise.

JPU Records (who have also signed other Japanese bands like LOVEBITES, The Gazette, and SCANDAL) handles the band's international releases. They are signed to Crown Stones in Japan.

Masters and princesses, are you ready?

The full tour is as follows:

11/9 Los Angeles, CA - Lodge Room
11/10 San Francisco, CA - The Chapel
11/14 Helsinki (FI) - Nosturi
11/16 Amsterdam (NL) - Melkweg
11/17 London (UK) - The Dome
11/18 Paris (FR) - Backstage
11/21 Berlin (DE) - SO36
11/22 Munich (DE) - Feierwerk
