At Gamescom, the leading game expo in Europe, Konami Europe announced they will be picking up No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise for the Playstation 3 and adding Playstation Move controls to it. The main appeal of Heroes’ Paradise is that it will be in HD, though it lacked the Wii’s motion controls; now fans can have the best of both worlds. No word on an American or Xbox 360 release yet, but fans can still rejoice that we are in the age of region-free gaming. More after the jump.

No More Heroes follows Travis Touchdown, a lucky otaku who won a beam katana in an internet auction. Using this, he joins a competition to rise up the ranks of the United Assassins Association, enticed by both money and the sultry Sylvia Christel. The game has many sandbox elements, allowing players to ride around the city of Santa Destroy to seek out missions. It is also known for its over-the-top action and fountains of blood.
