If you haven't heard of Arknights, it's a mobile game in the vein of tower defense.  You deploy operators, they kill things.  Sometimes it's easy and on other occasions it involves specific to-the-second timing, like a puzzle.  There's no one way to beat a stage and depending on what operators you have, things will be drastically different.

Information is sparse, for now, but it is a 3D RPG game.  The most contemporary thing that will come to a lot of anime fans' minds is "Genshin Impact," but I'm sure there will be plenty of things to separate it from the competition.

Some early in-engine footage is here.  From what we can see, it's in 3D, you will have the ability to use teammates, and you will be able to run and jump around.  Nothing as far as mechanics, enemies, combat system, etc has been revealed yet.
