Giant Transformers Unicron Toy Crowdfunding

On July 15th, Hasbro started crowdfunding on their HasLab platform for Unicron as a part of their Transformers: War For Cybertron toy line.
Standing at over 2 feet tall in robot mode and weighing 19 pounds, Unicron is the largest Transformer toy to date. Hasbro has also promised a range of additional features including the recently announced detachable head with interchangeable faceplates.

Sadly as of this article, there are a little over 2,500 backers, making it is unlikely this will meet the August 31st deadline of 8,000 minimum backers for production.
Unicron comes with a hefty price tag to match its size at $574.99 USD. At this pricing point, I would like to see some airbrush weathering or panel lining done. As a note, the images and videos shown so far are prototype photos and not the finished production model.

While some may scoff at the price for a toy, Unicron is meant to be a limited exclusive aimed at collectors similar to collectible statues distributed by companies such as Sideshow Collectibles. Besides, Transformers collectors have already seen toys in this price range released by popular 3rd party companies.
