Known for her contributions to the anime film Tiger and Bunny: The Beginning and her collaboration with Western singer Michelle Branch for "Good Love," it was announced earlier today that her new single "Haru Kaze" ("Spring Breeze") has been selected as the opening for Haruma Miura's live-action drama Boku no Ita Jikan. She has also announced a five-city tour in Japan this spring, with performances in Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Aichi, Osaka and Tokyo.

Long Live! School Idol Festival English

Released on iOS and Android in Japan last year, Bushiroad's and Klab's hit video game app based off of Sunrise's Long Live! School Idol Project anime will be released in English later this spring in addition to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea. The game features two modes, a rhythm action portion and a story or adventure mode.

iOS visual novel Banshees’s Last Cry

As part of the company's latest efforts to localize video game maker Chunsoft's (999/Virtue's Last Reward) extensive visual novel library, Aksys games has released the company's mystery-adventure title Kamaitachi no Yoru as Banshee's Last Cry on Apple's iOS platform. The "sound novel" was originally released in 1994 on the Super Nintendo and eventually ported to PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, PC, mobile phones and the Wii Virtual Console. This is the first time that the game has been released in English.

Angel Beats! Visual Novel CG Preview Yuripee Pantsu

Following up with my last post in regards to the upcoming Angel Beats! visual novel from KEY, Dengeki Online has unveiled a brand-new set of previously never-before-seen CGs for the game. Of particular note is the extra fan service they've added SSS brigade leader, Yuri Nakamura, in a rather compromising pose.

After teasing a possible return of Wonder Momo earlier this month, Bandai Namco has finally revealed their plans for an upcoming PC and Android game by WayForward (Duck Tales: Remastered) in addition to an anime series from ShiftyLook and Graphinica. The series will be directed by Yutaka Kagawa and will be streamed through Crunchyroll.

On Monday, a new website for the anime project selector infected WIXOSS was opened to reveal a brand-new project from Takuya Satō (Steins;Gate, Armitage III, Strawberry Marshmallow), who will be directing, and Mari Okada (anohana, Hana-Saku Iroha, Amazing Twins) who will be working on the series' scripts. Animation will be done by J.C. Staff with Kyuta Sakai (When They Cry- Higurashi, Steins; Gate) working on the character designs.

Tales of Phantasia from Bandai Namco now available on the iPhone/iPad

Not satisfied with a mere name change, Bandai Namco (formerly known as Namco Bandai) has stealth released the Super Nintendo/PlayStation One classic Tales of Phantasia on the iOS App Store in the United States and Canada. This release is a "free" enhanced port of the first installment of the Tales of series without any required in-game purchases to play through it. The only caveat, you must have an active internet connection to play the game.

After a successful collaboration with Marvel in Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, Marvel and anime production studio Mad House are once again combining forces on an original straight-to-video feature film Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and Punisher. The movie will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and digitally on March 25.

According to the media site IGN, Idea Factory International has confirmed that they will be bringing Compile Heart's card battle title Monster Monpiece to North America and Europe in Spring 2014.

Sekai Project 2013 Moe Headphones Kickstarter Project

Illustrated by Lunatic Joker, a circle (group) name for Tsukigami Luna (pen name), Sekai Project has launched a Kickstarter campaign to translate a 52-page softcover book featuring six designer headphones accentuated with ‘kawaii’ girls wearing the equipment. The book also includes headphone discussions with nine different Namco sound engineers and more.
