Worms Reloaded Returns to PC

After a ten year break, Worms returns for the PC with Worms Reloaded. The game looks great so far with its HD cartoony graphics and classic sense of humor. Fans of similar games on Android or iPhone like Armored Strike or iShoot should check this out – arguably the precursor to all these games. Worms Reloaded is set for an August 26 release date. Full press release here.Click after the jump for screenshots and trailer.

Originally announced at E3, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition just launched its Japanese site. At the moment, it doesn’t contain much other than some screenshots. A close look shows that the graphics are pretty close to the arcade version, considering that this is a handheld game. It will only look better in motion and in the palm of our hands! Hopefully we’ll get more information on the game soon and maybe some gameplay footage, too! Screenshots embedded after the jump for your convenience.

New Tales Games Announced

Tales of Graces, previously a Wii-exclusive, will be heading to the PlayStation 3 as Tales of Graces F, much like its Xbox 360 cousin, Tales of Vesperia. It will feature new costumes and attacks to make PlayStation 3 owners' purchases worthwhile. In addition, a new, currently nameless, Tales game was announced for the PlayStation 3 and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 for the PlayStation Portable. Keep in mind, these are all confirmed for Japan only and have no word yet of an American release. It would be great if companies would continue to do more simultaneous launches throughout the world, but since these RPGs are a more niche genre, it's understandable. Maybe the only way to encourage them is to buy loads of their games? We'll keep you posted.

Come back frequently to this post for the latest updates!

At the Comic Con 2010 panel, SSFIV and Beyond, Producer Yoshinori Ono along with Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada announced a crossover project between Street Fighter and Tekken, making two games with two developers. There will be two versions: Street Fighter X Tekken created by Capcom and Tekken X Street Fighter by Namco. It will be interesting to see how Tekken characters will deal with projectile characters like Ryu and Ken. So far, the gameplay showed off Ryu from Street Fighter and Kazuya from Tekken. Let the speculations on characters begin!

UPDATE: A video just surfaced online. It shows off the 2-on-2 combat system, and confirms Chun Li and Nina Williams as two additional characters. Note that this is likely from Street Fighter X Tekken, due to the presence of Ultra moves and overall art style resembling that of Super Street Fighter IV. You can also check out the teaser trailer here.

Moyashimon Live Action on Hulu

Written by
I was pleasantly surprised while browsing Hulu to find the Japanese drama adaptation of Moyashimon: Tales of Agriculture, which is currently airing in Japan, on Hulu with the most up to date episodes. The series was original created by Ishikawa Masayuki in 2004 as a manga and received an anime adaptation in 2007. The story follows Sawaki Tadayasu who is entering his first year at an agricultural university. Sawaki is blessed with a special ability to talk and see bacteria and other micro organisms, an ability which has interested his grandfather's friend, Professor Itsuki. Fans of the series should definitely check it out. The English subtitles are provided by Funimation, and you can watch the episodes on Hulu here or at Funimation's homepage.
