A patch was applied in January 2018 described below that had initially fixed the issue, reoccurred several days later and was not rediscovered and finally patched in April 2018.

Impact: Website metrics and analytics between the months of September 2017 and April 2018 are unavailable.
Page rankings across various platforms such as Alexa and Google have been affected resulting in a 495% drop in rank.

Website Slowness and Downtime (503 Errors)
Start: ~ October 2017
End: January 2018

A server side routing issue appearing sometime between October and November 2017 was causing slow load times in addition to intermittent 503 errors.
Upon further investigation, the website had a downtime of 58.95% using a 1 day sample.

Server side patches and IP address migration resolved the issue.

Impact: Visitors were unable to access the website or experienced severe load times.
