E3 2016 Impressions: Tekken 7

We managed to get a sneak peak at the new upcoming game, Tekken 7, with the publishers from Bandai Namco. Tekken 7 is a fighting game and is the latest installment in the Tekken series. The game also marks the 20th anniversary of the Tekken series.

After watching the E3 2016 demo for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it’s no surprise that Nintendo’s back-to-basics approach has a great impact to the overall experience. This is a very refreshing move for the series, one that will definitely refine the free-roaming sense of exploration and danger that made the first Zelda so great. At E3, Nintendo had a playable demo at their booth and I was able to get my hands on it.

We managed to get a sneak peak at the new upcoming game, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization with the publishers at Bandai Namco. Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is a new action RPG developed under the eye of the creator himself Reki Kawahara and is set in a game-original Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online game (VRMMO game,) called Sword Art: Origin, which is based on the servers from the original Sword Art Online.

Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book is the 17th game in the primary Atelier series, and the start of a new setting after Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea concludes the Dusk installment series. It maintains many of the franchise's long-standing traditions but it also finds room to try new and notable things. Developer Gust takes more chances to shake things up, and it pays off. It compliment's the series' best parts (like the alchemy system) and supports the weaker aspects of the formula.

Square Enix will be bringing Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius to the West this summer. Players may recognize the developer, Gumi, who created the popular and highly addicting mobile game, Brave Frontier. The title will launch on iOS and Android and it will be available in six languages (English, German, French, Traditional Chinese, and Korean) at launch.
