It is a fact that Covid is still around and also that anime fans want to return to conventions or gatherings. This year Anime Expo returned in person after a two-year hiatus. Some people got excited after this announcement and others asked are we ready for this?

Bandai Namco has posted their Anime Expo Summer Showcase Panel in its entirety on their official YouTube channel, to the pleasure of those who missed it or were not there in person.

PC company Hyte and Vtuber agency Hololive production have announced a very special collaboration during Anime Expo 2022. Hyte is producing a limited edition Y60 PC case with an art collaboration of the Hololive character Baelz.

Anime Expo has gone by in a flash, but it's not like we can't remember all the fantastic things we saw on the show floor. This year Sega had an impressive display of concept art in their booth from the game PSO2: New Genesis. Check out all the things we saw in the gallery below.

After watching the first episode of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners,  it’s refreshing to see how much work and effort was put into this anime to make it come out on top of everyone's radar.

 Japanese male idol group Travis Japan, made their first appearance at the largest North American anime convention, Anime Expo 2022.

Digimon Survive has had quite the rollercoaster of a development cycle since it was announced all the way back in 2018. Fast forward to 2022, it now has a release date right around the corner at the end of this month. I got to check out a hands-on demo here at Anime Expo 2022 this week and I can now say I am officially excited.

It’s no surprise that One Piece is one of the most popular Anime to date. One Piece Odyssey is a brand-new RPG that features a new character and monster designed by its original creator, Eiichiro Oda. I was able to get some hands-on time with the demo at the Bandai Namco booth here at Anime Expo. 

Macross is a franchise that has been around for, as of 2022, 40 years. This all started back in 1982 with Super Dimension Fortress Macross.  While I wasn't able to see it until many years later, it's not an exaggeration to say that Macross is what brought me into anime. Giant robots, epic battle scenes, swarms of missiles; Macross was quite thrilling for young me. Macross is also the thing that first brought me to Anime Expo back in 2010. I was a big fan of Macross Frontier and the announcement that May'n and Megumi Nakajima would be in Los Angeles was what pushed me to go. A big part of Macross has always been the music, and having these two artists perform their craft in America is something I didn't know if I'd ever be able to see again.
