The latest animated feature of Type Moon's Fate series, Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn-, will have a special screening at Anime Expo! In fact, it's going to be the English world premiere, presented specially by Aniplex.

Aniplex has a tradition of bringing big name guests to Anime Expo, and this year is no different.  For 2022, they have Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Disney's Twisted-Wonderland, and Fate/Grand Order on tap.  Even better, they have Japanese guests, which if you've looked at conventions nowadays, have been in short supply due to the state of the world.

Aniplex has just announced that Noriko Shitaya will attend the Fate/Grand Order USA Tour's inaugural Los Angeles stop, which starts in less than a week's time on Saturday the 23rd.  She replaces Kana Ueda who had to unfortunately back out due to an unforeseen bout of sickness. Rest up and be well, Ueda-san! The merchandise list and a stamp rally have also been announced.

Originally released in Japan on August 24, 2017, Prisma Illya Alarm: Magical Ruby Selection Illya has been announced for an English release in early May 2018. 
The app features Illyasviel von Einzbern who stars in the Fate spinoff series, Fate/kaleid liner. The app contains over 250 new voice recordings by voice actress Mai Kadowaki, and 30 illustrations drawn by the anime studio Silver Link.

On November 3, Aniplex held the North American premiere for the first film in a three-part trilogy, Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] THE MOVIE I. presage flower at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Heaven's Feel is the third and final route of the original Fate/Stay night visual novel released in 2004. Making her first American appearance, we sat down with Noriko Shitaya, who voices the heroine, Sakura Matou, to talk a little about her career and thoughts on her character in the film.

Heaven’s Feel Movie Premiere Q&A Transcript

After the film, a brief Q&A interview was held with Director Tomonori Sudo, Associate Producer Yuma Takahashi, and making her first American appearance, the voice of Sakura Matou, Noriko Shitaya. Fate/GO Team Interview @ Anime Expo 2017

Aniplex of America celebrated the English release of Fate/Grand Order (FGO) at this year’s Anime Expo. FGO is a popular mobile game based on the Fate series by Kinoko Nasu and TYPE-MOON that is currently the top grossing app in Japan on iTunes and Google Play. Right before the official panel, we had the opportunity for a very brief chat backstage with Creative Director Yosuke Shiokawa, Producer Atsuhiro Iwakami, and with Ayako Kawasumi who voices the iconic character, Saber.

At their most recent panel at Sakura-Con in Seattle, Aniplex revealed one of their biggest projects for this year. Fate/Grand Order, or Fate/GO is a popular mobile game in Japan that already has a legion of international players. The game will be officially making its way in English to North America this Summer. We sat down with the Director of the game, Yosuke Shiokawa during a short round table interview.
