Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero (Anime) Review

There’s perhaps no anime more iconic worldwide than the Dragon Ball series. With this year’s new Dragon Ball movie finally out, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero serves as a reminder as to why the show has remained so popular for so long, longer even than the tropes it helped to create.

ATARASHII GAKKO! at Crunchyroll Expo 2022

ATARASHII GAKKO! took the stage once again in California, this time at Crunchyroll Expo. This marks the third time they have performed in America.

Crunchyroll Expo is fast approaching. On Friday, July 22, anime fans at San Diego Comic Con were given a sneak-preview of one of the musical acts, ATARASHII GAKKO!. In Japan, they're known as 新しい学校のリーダーズ (ATARASHII GAKKO NO LEADERS), and the quartet brings a frenetic pace that transcends any one genre.

Crunchyroll's San Diego Comic Con 2022 Plans

For fans of anime, San Diego Comic Con is not the kind of place you see the biggest announcements or the biggest releases. Most big news comes via Anime Expo just a few weeks prior. And with Crunchyroll Expo, happening in just a few weeks, Crunchyroll's big events are going to be reserved. This year, however, Crunchyroll is linking up with San Diego Comic Con to give you two concerts and some more fun.

Crunchyroll is one of English's most prominent licensing and production houses and they had quite a bit on their plate at Anime Expo for congoers to view and experience.  They've also got their own upcoming Crunchyroll Expo on Labor Day.

This year’s Crunchyroll Expo (September 1-3, San Jose Convention Center) is right around the corner and they’ve got some pretty good looking guests and events as is befitting one of the major names in English anime streaming and production.  They've even gone as far as being the principal driving force behind a few series.  Read on for some of the things we think are must-sees at the upcoming CRX:

SANTA MONICA, CA (January 8, 2013) –Aniplex of America has just announced the simulcast of one the most anticipated anime series this year, VIVIDRED OPERATION. This brand new series is directed by Kazuhiro Takamura, the same director who also produced the popular anime series Strike Witches. VIVIDRED OPERATION is also being produced by A-1 Pictures, the same studio who
produced the hit series Sword Art Online.

SANTA MONICA, CA (January 2, 2013) – Aniplex of America announces the new anime series Oreshura will be streaming on Crunchyroll. This brand new animated high school romance show is
produced by A-1 Pictures, the same studio who also produced the fan favorite Sword Art Online and Blue Exorcist. This series is also directed by Kanta Kamei, who also directed the series Bunny Drop. A couple hours after its broadcast in Japan, Oreshura will be available for streaming in the following territories: U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The 1st episode will premiere at 9:00am PST on Saturday, January 5th for Crunchyroll premium members. Free members will be able to view Oreshura one week after initial broadcast on Crunchyroll (www.crunchyroll.com/oreshura).
