Otaku scholar, Patrick Galbraith will be be holding a conference at Ottawa University on Friday January 8, 2009 1PM to 5:30PM. The lecture will be a discussion on the otaku movement and will be titled "Onnichan, what does moe mean?" Galbraith will also be presenting the potential, and limits of moe and a little about his book, The Otaku Enclopedia. If you will be in the area, might want to check it out.
