ClariS' 2nd album "SECOND STORY" will be released in June 26th! To help celebrate, a brand-new illustration of the singing duo has also been released as well!

The second album will consist of several hit song such as "Wake Up" from Moyashimon Returns, "Luminous" from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica film, and "reunion" from second season of OreImo. Nine additional new songs will also be in their new album.

Aniplex of America has just announced that the first two Puella Magi Madoka Magica movies Part 1 –Beginnings- and Part 2 –Eternal- will be available on Blu-ray at the end of July. Following its run in theaters worldwide, the demand for the Madoka Magica movies continues to grow everyday with requests for more show times. The not-so-typical story of a middle school girl named Madoka Kaname and her decision to become a magical girl continues to take the world by storm. Part 1 and Part 2 of the Madoka Magica movies retells the original TV series and is set for the big screen. These movies are a must-own for Madoka Magica fans or anybody who is just experiencing Madoka Magica for the first time.

news madokaFans of the dark mahou shoujo series, Puella Magi Madoka Magica can thank their lucky Kyubey that the first two films Part 1: Beginnings and Part 2: Eternal will be debuting in the US this October across the United States. Similar to Gainax's effort with the two Gurren Lagann films, the two Puella Magi Madoka Magica films are an alternative retelling of the film from Shaft, the same creators of Gen Urobuchi's masterpiece. The film is slated to be released this October in Japan, making this part of a worldwide release for Aniplex. For showtimes, locations and dates of the theatrical screenings, please refer to the press release below. Cities include Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston and San Francisco.

ClariS Exclusive 1st English Interview

Japanese pop music idol duo ClariS has caused a huge stir in Japan and has caught the attention of mainstream media for starting their career when they were only in junior high school. Our very own Roger Lee was on the scene in Seattle last weekend at Sakura-Con 2012 for an exclusive roundtable interview with Nitroplus screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, producer Atsuhiro Iwakami and light novel publisher Katushi Ota. Given in a traditional round-robin interview format, we were joined by representatives from other press groups including SUTORAIKUanime, Radiant Dreamer, Within a Flash of Lightning, Japan-A-Radio, and Sankaku Complex.

ClariS Set - Irony Ver. Nendoroid Petites

Being the popular junior high idol unit known as ClariS, they have been made famous by singing the opening songs for popular anime series such as Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. In tandem with their recent single release, Good Smile Company has created the vessel for their Nendoroid debut.

Kalafina (カラフィナ) Interview

Japanese all female group Kalafina, made their second American appearance at Anime Expo from July 1-4, 2011. Consisting of vocalists, Keiko Kubota, Wakana Ōtaki, and Hikaru Masai, the group was originally formed to perform music for the anime adaptation of Kara no Kyokai (The Garden of Sinners), but their unique musical styling has lead them continue to this day. Their more recent music has appeared in the popular series, Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Hear what this trio had to say in our brief interview!
