Doreamon Turns Evil Bear Principal

Voice actress Nobuyo Oyama, famed for voicing children’s anime character Doreamon, will be voicing Mono Bear in the upcoming Playstation Portable (PSP) game, Dangan-Ronpa. Anyone who’s heard Doreamon’s voice will be in for a treat and surprise, considering that Mono Bear is an evil principal commanding the player to kill all fellow students. From the trailer on the official site, gamers can already hear bits of the iconic voice in Mono Bear. More after the jump.

Sega has announced a new entry to the Phantasy Star Portable series, Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. The new installment looks like it will be bigger and better than its predecessor, Phantasy Star Portable 2, including more story, characters, and online features.

How Fights Work in Yakuza PSP

Various fighting modes have been revealed for Kurohyou: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinsho, Sega’s upcoming Yakuza spin-off. There will be three modes: Submission Battle, Tag Match, and Team Battle. In addition, players will be able to create their own characters and take them into the ad-hoc duels. Apparently, none of the modes will feature life bars, which developers say will enhance the overall atmosphere. No idea how players will know if they’re winning or losing as of yet. Be a Yakuza Ice Cream and Sushi Chef

Upcoming Yakuza Playstation Portable spinoff Kurohyou: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinsho will feature nightlife minigames, which include games like UFO catchers or part time jobs. These were common in the series, but part time jobs seem to be a new feature. The part time job minigames will consist of button commands, which will effectively make these a series of rhythm games. Apparently, these will also fund the players’ nightlife activities, meaning they can’t just slack off and go to the karaoke or massage parlor all the time. A Visual Novel That Moves Naturally

Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai or My Little Sister Can't be This Cute is making its way from the pages of a light novel to the Playstation Portable as a visual novel. It will use a special new visual technology called Live2D that will make interacting with different characters a new and interesting experience.

PSP Little Busters! Release Date Announced

Little Busters! Converted Edition for the Playstation Portable (PSP) is set for a November release date in Japan. As of now, the voice recording for the game is about 80% complete, giving voices to every character other than the main hero. Little Busters! was originally a PC visual novel game developed by Key, which was then ported to the Playstation 2, and now the PSP. It’s known for a variety of minigames and battles in addition to its main adventure.  Pictures included inside.

Kojima World Tour

Hideo Kojima, famous for his work on the Metal Gear and Zone of the Enders series, will surely be met with large crowds.
