JAST USA to Announce Nitroplus' Steins;Gate at Anime Expo 2013?

It's that time again! Every year at this time, it seems as though JAST USA teases its loyal fanbase with the possibility of a localization of Nitroplus' award-winning Steins;Gate visual novel before Anime Expo. According to a series of Tweets last month, it appears that JAST USA may be preparing an official statement regarding the realistic possibility of the aforementioned game at Anime Expo 2013.

Although it's been speculated for a while now that JAST USA has been trying to work with the digital video game distribution network STEAM on an official English release for the past few years, JAST USA president and CEO Peter Payne was relatively quiet last year at their 2012 panel.

Other Nitroplus games that are in JAST USA's pipeline includes: Hanachirasu, Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer, Outlaw Django ~ Zoku: Satsuriku no Django and Sumaga.

Given their recent partnership with Nitroplus on the release of Deus Ex Machina Demonbane and more recently the Song of Saya ~ Saya no Uta, could the time be getting close on an official release of Steins;Gate? One can only hope or ask John Titor for a hint...
