Returning to Anime Expo 2022 is the professional cosplay duo of Tasha and Doremi from the South Korean cosplay group Spiral Cats. Famous for their amazingly accurate depictions of video game and anime characters, they have gained international stardom through modeling for numerous video game companies such as Blizzard Entertainment and Riot Games. They have also appeared in televised shows and online programming in South Korea.

Popular seiyuu and singer Maaya Sakamoto announced today on her birthday that she will be releasing a double A-side single containing the theme songs (“Sumire" and "Kotoba ni Dekinai”) of two anime starting in April in Japan on May 25th and will be available physically and digitally across major streaming platforms. 

Toy company Mattel and online streaming giant Netflix announced they are working on a live-action movie adaptation of the Masters of the Universe franchise.

Often described as the gateway drug into anime for those who grew up in the early 2000s, Cowboy Bebop is a neo-noir sci-fi that takes place in the year 2071 and follows a ragtag misfit crew of bounty hunters, known as cowboys, aboard the spaceship Bebop. After 20 years, Cowboy Bebop is back in what hopefully is a faithful live action adaptation that can satisfy existing audiences and bring new ones into the fold. 

Japanese girl group, NiziU released a video of their newest song "Chopstick" today. Check out this super catchy song in Japanese with awesome K-pop visuals. Chopstick also appears to be the title song of their upcoming first album, U.

Square Enix has revealed a video prototype of a 1/6 scale statue of Terra riding on a Magitek Armor from Final Fantasy VI produced by Japanese statue maker Prime 1 Studio.

During Netflix's online fan event titled Tundum held on September 25th, they unveiled the opening to the highly anticipated live-action series adaptation of the 1998 Cowboy Bebop anime. The opening is a faithful recreation of the original anime's including Yoko Kanno's "TANK!" song. The original director for the anime, Shinichiro Watanabe serves as a consultant for the live-action series.

Cowboy Bebop will be released on November 19 on Netflix.

During the PlayStation Showcase, Gearbox revealed an awesome headbanging trailer for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands that features the song "Gimme Chocolate!!" by BABYMETAL.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands appears to be a standalone spinoff from the main Borderlands series. Instead of the post-apocalyptic wastelands on other planets, players will be a part of Tiny Tina's chaotic tabletop gaming session in a fantasy setting featuring magic and guns.
